SGN: How did My Beauty Bunny Start?
JM: I started My Beauty Bunny in April 2009 because I LOVE talking about beauty products and I wanted to show people that there are plenty of alternatives to products that have been tested on animals!

SGN: Any advice for beauty bloggers?
JM:Don’t give up! There will be times when you just can’t live up to the demands of producing daily content. That’s okay! Just take a break and pick up where you left off. Let people know what’s going on and you’ll find them to be very forgiving and understanding. We’re all human after all, and it’s quite likely that you’re a one-woman (or one-man) show.
SGN: What are the products that you can’t live without?
JM: All of them! I try so many different things, and I love it. A few of my mainstays are: MAC lipsticks and eyeshadows, Urban Decay eyeshadow primer, Beautisol self-tanner, Dermalogica Clearing Skin Wash and Aveda shampoos and conditioners.
SGN: What are your budget bunny tips?
JM: Home remedies can be just as good (or even better) than expensive store-bought products. One that I’m currently trying: mix 1/3 green tea, 1/3 apple cider vinegar and 1/3 water in a spray bottle. Use as a toner every night before your moisturizer. You can adjust the ingredients depending on your skin’s sensitivity. This helps with blemishes, helps to exfoliate and the green tea gives it antioxidant/anti-aging powers!
