Around this time of year the Internet is bursting with Holiday looks inspiration. There will be a lot of red, green and glitter makeup tutorials to check out and while I love an over-the-top glam look, I have also learned to appreciate the simplicity in fresh-faced makeup. If you want a makeup look that will leave your skin glowing then grab your favorite EcoTools brushes and let’s get started!
Last month I shared a Gift Guide for affordable makeup brushes. In that guide I included some beautiful makeup brushes that EcoTools put together just in time for the Holidays. I always recommend their makeup brushes for anyone looking for great quality makeup brushes at a super affordable price. Not only that, but their Holiday kits are too cute to pass up on. You can choose from the Four-Piece Beautiful Complexion Set, Festive & Flawless Face Set and Mini Essentials Holiday set. I have all 3 and used a combination of the brushes to create this fresh-faced makeup look just in time for New Years.
- I used the Full Powder Brush from the Mini Essentials Holiday set to apply a powder foundation. This brush allows me to build the coverage I need.
- I kept the eyes simple with minimal shadows and chose to add lashes for a flirty look instead. For bold brows use the Angled Liner Brush also from the Mini Essentials Holiday set and apply your favorite brow product. This brush gets you perfectly defined brows.
- The secret to glowing skin is in your highlighter application. I moved on to theEcoTools Festive and Flawless set and used the Buffing Concealer Brush too apply a gold highlighter. Dab it onto the highest part of your cheeks, right over the brows and down the bridge of your nose. Your skin will glow from every angle.
Keep your makeup in place all night by spritzing a setting spray, add your favorite nude lip gloss or lipstick and you’re ready to party!
I want you all to experience how amazing the EcoTools brushes are too, so I’m hosting a giveaway just for my readers! Info on how to enter is listed below. A winner will be selected next Monday (must be a US resident) — good luck!
