When it comes to hair the best advice can sometimes come from an actual pro. Below are some important hair that you've have most likely wondered about. Enjoy!

How can damage be avoided  when heavy highlights or a drastic color change is wanted?

Who doesn't like to change up their color every now and then. For a client looking for heavy highlights I would  go ahead and use the Biolights highlighting technique. If a client comes to me with hair in an already compromised state I would first recommend having a series of in salon and at home conditioning treatments and keeping up with their haircuts.

Eco- Friendly Biolights and the Biolights technique?

Biolights hair color pads are made from 100% biodegradable cotton. Making the highlighting process much more gentle on the hair then tradional foil. Offering long lasting beautiful color and shine and keeps the integrity of the hair.

Is it necessary to use a shampoo for color treated hair?

Yes 100%. In order to maintain gorgeous  vibrant color.  Proper care is key.  Color treated hair needs a lot more TLC than normal hair.  A Shampoo for color treated hair is much more gentle protecting the hair structure and keeps your color from fading.

What are some products that you recommend?

For quick hair repair and rejuvenation I recommend Kerastase Bain Chroma Riche- Shampoo & Masque. I also love Fluide Chroma Riche revealing radiance and amazing shine.

Closing tips

Always protect you hair from heat while blowdrying by using a styling product and/or a leave in conditioner. Avoid shampooing on a daily basis not to over dry your hair.
