Hologram Love

Hologram RW

I’m not sure if society has fully accepted holographic fashions into their realm of trends, but one thing that I know for certain is that this look was not intended for the shy and week. It’s refreshing to see designers such as Bluemarine, Theory and Hussein Chalayan designing innovative garments instead of looking into the past for inspiration. I personally wouldn’t be caught dead wearing a full on head-to-toe holographic outfit. I think that it is done best when holographic pieces are incorporated into an ensemble such as a Proeza Schouler’s PS11 metallic hologram clutch, Nasty Gal’s bullet platform pump or Asos’s rainbow holograph t-shirt. This holographic trend would be a great way to shine and stand out from the crowd at any upcoming holiday function or New Years Eve event. It might be a while until we see this trend fully accepted into society, but in the meanwhile I encourage all of you fashionista's that are bold enough to introduce this micro-trend to the world.
