Best Picks For Self Tanners

The weather doesn't feel like it will be warming up any time soon and pale does not look good on me (although it does look good on others -- I'm just not one of the lucky ones). My skin tone looks its best when I have a little sun-kissed glow and lucky for me self tanners will do the trick. Recently I shared a video review of a new self tanner I've been using and obsessing over -- Karora Express Bronzing Mousse. I won't go too in-depth about it because you can just watch to the video review below. However, I will say that this self tanner is amazing on so many levels. As great as the self tanner is, I wanted to give you guys options when it came to choosing the right one for you. Keep reading to find out about three other self tanners that have worked for me in the past as well.

But first, my Karora bronzing mousse review:

Another self tanner I was using right before the mousse was the Kardashian Sun Kissed Instant Sunless Spray. This particular self tanner is half the price of the Karora one and still just as amazing. The spray nozzle makes it easy to reach every area on your body, smells good and gives you an amazing glow. My only con for this one is that the spray ends up all over the floor. I suggest standing over an old towel or garbage bag when using this spray-on self tanner.

PS. If you don't like the spray-on feature, this one is also available in a mousse form.

Next up is the St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse. This was the firs mousse self tanner I started using and it was love at first application. What I love most about it is that the mousse dries instantly, allowing you to get dressed immediately after applying.

Next up is a long time favorite of mine -- Million Dollar Tan Dark Sunless Tanning Spray. Now this spray isn't the kind you can just spray all over and walk away. With this self tanner you need to spray it onto a sponge and work the formula into your skin. This one takes a little more work to apply, but will leave you with the most natural-looking sun-kissed glow.

No matter which self tanner you decide to use, make sure you also pick up an applicator mitt to rub the formula on. Many brands sell them with their self tanners, but if not you can pick one up at Ulta.
