Beauty Tip Tuesday – Favorite Drugstore Picks

In a down economy saving money is crucial, especially when purchasing personal products such as cosmetics -- nevertheless we use these on a daily basis. After many years of trial and error and using all my allowances and first paychecks on every drugstore product you can imagine, I have found some all-time favorite drugstore items that are sure to make anyone think your makeup & skin look like you walked out of a high-end salon. The L'oreal Paris HiP Studios Shadow Duo retails at $8.25 and comes in a variety of different colors and the pigment is sure to last you all day.

My all-time FAVORITE drugs-tore skincare find is the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream in both day and night formulas.  I use this twice daily and my skin has never looked so wrinkle free and radiant!  I’ve gotten more compliments in the last two years than ever before and each year I swear I look younger. These products contain SPF and retinol (an anti-aging) element. Use a pea size amount for face and neck in the morning and evening and after about two months you are sure to see results. Each item retails at about $11.49.

To accompany the skincare products above I found that Neutrogena also has a fantastic Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes that works very well on removing eye makeup in every nook and cranny without stinging the eyes. I use this on my models and clients and carry this everywhere in my kit and they are a huge hit retailing at $5.99.
