Be A Knockout Beauty

This is a sponsored post in collaboration with Target — all opinions are my own.

Attention beauty lovers! The Sonia Kashuk Knockout Beauty collection is debuting exclusively in Target stores this month. I shopped some items from the collection, and I’m now sharing my favorite picks with you here.

One of the main reasons I started blogging about beauty is because I wanted to promote self-love and confidence. This Sonia Kashuk collection shares the same values I hold near to my heart, and that’s the real reason I gravitated towards it. The collection is all about embracing how beautiful you are and knocking out the negativity. This collection is also a collaboration by the two makeup artists Sonia Kashuk and Dana Louise Kirkpatrick. Kirkpatrick's style is expressive so of course this collection had to be a bold one as well.

The first item that caught my attention from this collection was the set of makeup brushes. This set of brushes almost looks too pretty to use, but of course I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them. The brushes are incredibly soft, and a decorative touch wherever you store them. I love how the handles have different sayings, like, "Be Empowered," and "You Are Beautiful." Having little reminders like that can have a powerful effect.

I knew exactly what look I wanted to create first with my new beauty finds. If you want a glowy, everyday look, this set of brushes is perfect.

First, I used this dome-shaped brush to buff the foundation onto my skin and the mini dome brush to apply my concealer.

Next, I used the rectangular flat-top brush to carve out my contour with a bronzer. The slanted brush with the bristles is perfect to apply your blush with.

For the final touch that gives you the perfect glow, I used this longer brush and dabbed the Sonia Kashuk Knock Out Beauty Skin Glow in Golden Gloves. I applied the highlight on the highest points of my cheeks and down the bridge of my nose.

For the complete knockout look, I finished up my makeup with a bold, red lip. The lipstick I used is the Sonia Kashuk Matte Lipstick in the shade Power Punch. It’s the perfect shade of red!
