Abreva Makes Covering Up Simple
If you've ever had a cold sore near your lips and had no idea how to cover it up-- this post will change that. Abreva has a created a product that helps you conceal sores better than if you tried doing it on your own. I received the Abreva Conceal kit and put the product to the test.
Abreva Conceal is an invisible cold sore patch that not only protects the sore but is also non-irritating and can be used with makeup. Each box brings six non-medicated bandages that are about a dime size as completely invisible. You then stick the sticky side on the cold sore and press down the middle of it for 15 seconds. Makeup can then be applied over it.
I don't have any cold sores but I tested the bandages on my skin and bandage felt comfortable. Makeup like concealer, foundation and lip gloss can be placed over it and set with a powder to keep in place. The kit also and with a mirror that lights up and a brush from Monda Studio (#430) which is perfect for applying concealer. Eve though this is designed for cold sores, it's just as perfect to use for covering up blemishes as well.
Abreva Conceal is a clean, non-medicated patch for cold sores that allows air in, yet protective enough to keep contaminants out.
